Presentation

This new master's program becomes relevant in a context characterized by technological progress, in Spain and beyond our borders, the need for constant innovation with regard to management and development processes that must be present in all building projects and last, but not least, in a framework in which concern for the environment and sustainability occupy a central place.

In the professional field, the program prepares experts in different but complementary areas such as the development and management of projects in the building field, as well as intervention in rehabilitation and restoration works.

This master's degree is presented as a dual program of 105 credits in which subjects from the two original MSc programs are combined, leading to a study plan characterized by its comprehensive and flexible nature that ranges from new work to the intervention in the built space. The very configuration of the study plan articulated in 105 credits and three semesters allows flexible enrollment and personalized development by students.

Along with the features mentioned above, this dual program facilitates international mobility through agreements and agreements that the Technical School of Building Engineering, which hosts the program, maintains with several foreign universities within the Erasmus+ and Magalhaes program, as well as specific agreements with European and Ibero-American Universities for student interchange, including the Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza, the Politecnico di Bari, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, the Università degli Studi di Palermo, the Università degli Studi di Catania, the University of Bialystok and several Latin American universities.

In addition, a program made up of 3 semesters and 105 credits adapts to the needs of foreign students whose study visa is issued, in many cases, for a duration of 18 months.

Finally, the program provides two master's degrees, one in Building Process Management and another in Building Refurbishing and Restoration Works, which certainly represents added value both academically and in an increasingly demanding labor market, and the possibility of expanding the field of professional development in areas ranging from the creation of a new work to intervention in historic buildings.
